Hello again. I’ve been waiting for an epic picture to announce my comeback… but that’s just prolonged this post even more. I feel like short of capturing Sasquatch playing chess in the forest with Jimmy Hoffa, nothing will be good enough. So here is a picture of our giant hibiscus we have in our front yard. This thing is past my waist in height…

Epic picture? Why an epic picture? Emily Dickenson never had an epic pciture. A picture of a bush is just as good and very Dickesonian. And the variations of tone are lovely.

I will be honest, I love this picture but it reminds me of something that was probably in the Garden of Eden….Kind of like the Tree of Life. Love it.

Good for your wife to correct you! When I looked at the little tag line I was like “hibiscus? -what an idiot.” naw, I didn’t think you were a idiot- ok, maybe a little bit. I mean really, can you imagine what would be going through your mind if I had taken the best pig picture ever (yes pig), but in the tag line I put “isn’t this a great picture of a Billy goat?” all you would be able to think is- is… ahh… well maybe it’s a really fat go… no, I think it must be a… maybe in the background, uh, no… hmmm, well what if I look at it upside down. Imagine the confusion.
Otherwise Caleb I think it’s a fantastic picture!

Nice to see you back! Nice photo, too…isn’t it a jade plant? We had those in our yard when I was growing up in your neck of the woods.
