I shoot using a Nikon D80 and only use the manual functions. I use a Nikor AF-S 18mm-55mm and a Nikor AF-S 55mm-200mm zoom lens
Most of my shots are done using the 55-200mm lens, as it typically provides a more shallow depth of field and more striking photos. If anyone is looking to get into photography and is in the market for a strong entry level Digital SLR I love the Nikon D40’s. You can’t go wrong with either the Nikon D40 or the Canon Rebel Xti. I’ve spent a lot of time with the Canon 40D and it truly is an amazing camera. You don’t need a Digital SLR to take great pictures. It obviously helps, but what makes a great picture is the eye of the photographer!
