In a Daydream

I really don’t know what to say about these, other than how I was just struck at how the hay glowed like a light bulb when the sun hit them from behind. It seemed to light up the whole field! I love taking photos at dusk. I tend to like a darker shade to pictures, it seems to make them more moody and rich. I will rarely take my camera and shoot outdoors between 11:00 and 2:00 PM as the sun typically is straight down and offers no shadows or dynamics. You want some tone to your photos!

I tried to separate these three photos into three separate posts but they just go well together!
(also, I’m having some trouble with the display on my new laptop, if the colors seem too saturated PLEASE let me know!)

  1. i love these! the first one is my fav. again, when are you going to start selling these? or giving them as christmas gifts…hint, hint…

  4. These might be my favorite of the trip. The lighting was perfect that night! Go Maggie! 🙂

I say we all go again, soon.

  5. Maybe a smidge saturated. I had to tilt my laptop a couple of times to see it all. But I kinda like the tonal quality and wouldn’t necessarily change it. The first is really warm and lovely and makes me want to run through it.

  8. Cabe – Absolutely beautiful! I would love to be sitting right there in that first field enjoying the view. Isn’t it amazing what a beautiful world God gave us to photograph!
