PHOTO CHALLENGE THURSDAY! B&W ARCHITECTURE

Filed under: Week Five — cabenelson @ 9:30 pm

So last week I threw out a photo challenge for whoever wanted to participate and the response was wonderful. I love seeing other people’s perspective and eye for photography. (Hence my love for Flickr – Who doesn’t love Flickr?… seriously) The Thursday Photo Challenge is all about sharing ideas, seeing each others talents, and most of all IT’S AN EXCUSE TO TAKE PICTURES! I know for me I keep telling myself, “I need to shoot today… I need to find some time!” But if I have a particular REASON to go out and shoot pictures, I can make it much more of a priority in my day.

So here’s how it works… I’ll throw out a particular genre of photography on Thursday and challenge you to take your own photo over the weekend that fits that genre. Last week was about taking photographs that showcase composition. This weeks challenge is……………

    ARCHITECTURE IN BLACK AND WHITE

Take a photo of any structure that catches your eye in black and white. It can be close up or pulled back. Take one of the city you’re living in, or your office, your house, your neighbor’s house, heck even your dog’s house… I don’t care! Anything that showcases architecture in black and white.
This is mine…

Flood Building

I love this photo. There is something about black and white that catches my eye, especially when it comes to architecture. The shades in this and the tone make it one of my top ten favorite photos.

THE DEADLINE IS SUNDAY NOVEMBER 16TH! Just email me your photos and I will upload them (even anonymously if you would like) and post a link to your blog. I will ask for your permission before I post it on The Daily Focal Point.

So how ’bout it? Who’s up for the challenge!?

  1. Oh you know I’m up for the challenge. I’ll try my hardest to get something to you. I have a photography project that is due on Tuesday and I’m way behind in my editing and such.
