Bear Dog W/ His Favorite Toy

This is Bear. He is goofy, smart (too smart for his own good), playful, stupid, happy. He lives in the moment. He is my dog. And this little guy would follow me around all day if he could. When I say he’s MY dog and not OUR dog in terms of my wife and I, I really mean that. She would wholeheartedly agree.

For as long as I can remember I’ve always wanted my own dog. I have no idea why but I’ve always felt a connection with dogs. Maybe it has something to do with my name.

I was 19 when I got him. He was just a puppy stuffed into the back of an old farm truck along with all of his brothers and sisters. I picked him up out of the bed of the truck and he had saw dust caught in his thick fur. He’s been my buddy ever since.
